Mrs Ho from the K Yuen Chinese Takeaway is offering a workshop where

can learn to make less well known traditional Chinese dishes using
local ingredients.

Peasy Gardening Competition
The following are the Primary Schools participating in
the 2008 Competition.
The judging will take place prior to the Festival with the announcement
of the
Winner at Noon on Sunday 29 June.
The exhibits will be on show from Saturday 28 June.
The Schools are: Thorners (Litton Cheney), Parrett and Axe
(Mosterton), Burton Bradstock, Symondsbury, Charmouth, Broadwindsor,
Bridport Primary, St Catherine's (Bridport),
St Mary's (Bridport).

The Lions Club
of Bridport will be providing their usual splendid Hog Roast
and BBQ. The hog roast comes from Bonners Butchers of Ilminster, sausages
from
Washingpool Farm and Burgers from Rawles Butchers.
Downhouse Farm
at Higher Eype will be providing their delicious
vegetarian Frittata and other goodies.

and Drink Marquee will have a wide selection of stands mainly from
Dorset, Devon and South Somerset.
There will be
Food to Go, both in the Food and Drink Marquee and outside,
so nobody should go hungry.
The Cookery Demonstration
Marquee will be hosting a series of demonstrations entitled:
Exotic Cooking Using Local Ingredients.

Our Countryside Marquee is hosting talks including the local fishermen
who were a great success last year, and stands covering many areas
dealing with both the country and seaside. This marquee will also
be showing the Easy-Peasy Gardening Competition.

Children's Activities
We will be having a Bouncy Castle, Face Painting
and other attractions.

Marquee will be hosting more speakers including George Streatfeild
on Cheese Making at 11.00 am and Clive Groves on 'A Day in the Life
of a Violet Grower' in the afternoon.
