Events in Town for Festival Week

Wednesday June 24th
Be kind to Bees

Bridport’s Community Orchard will be welcoming visitors to learn
more about wild-life gardening and supporting honey bees including
honey tasting, creating mobiles and even visit a Virtual Beehive.


Thursday June 25th
The Bull Hotel and Leakers Bakery are hosting a
MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY


Music, entertainment and high tea plus a children’s Mad Hat
competition with a £25 first prize

4.00pm to 6pm in the Ballroom, The Bull Hotel.

Tickets £3.00/child, £5.00/adult available from Leakers Bakery,
29 East Street.


Friday June 26th
Fruits of the Earth Veggie Picnic Summer Celebration

You are invited to prepare delicious picnic food without meat or fish
to be tasted on the forecourt of the Bridport Arts Centre at 12pm.
Mark Hix and others will be tasting. Prizes for the tastiest delights.

Friday 26 June - Beer Festival

No Entrance Fee

6pm to 11pm - Beer Festival

The Lions Club of Bridport will be providing their usual splendid
Hog Roast and BBQ.

The hog roast comes from Bonners Butchers of Ilminster,
sausages from Washingpool Farm, Burgers from Rawles Butchers
and bread from Punch and Judy.

9.00pm Music by the Vinyl Monkeys in the Beer Festival Marquee.


Saturday 27 June - The Food Festival

ENTRANCE FEE: £2 per adult, children free

9.30 am to 5pm - Food Festival
11am to 11pm - Beer Festival

Food and Drink Marquee

Farmers Market

Countryside and craft stands

Hands on and fun activities for children

Lots of good food to go

Lunch time and evening music in the Beer Tent
with The Boogie Man and Skin Full
